Connecting via proxy

Help! I'm trying to connect to a telnet session from within our company's firewall. From a command line, I can accomplish this by issuing the following commands:

telnet internetabh.eds.com
Hostname: locis.loc.gov
Username: <my username>
Enter Password: <my password>

The ID and password I am entering are for our internal proxy (internetabh.eds.com), so that I can break out of our firewall. This works fine.

However, from .NET, I issue the following command to attempt to do the same thing:

emulator.Connect("internetabh.eds.com", 23, null);

How do I modify this to submit my ID, password, and the hostname (locis.loc.gov) as well???

Thanks in advance.

Nightowl,

I'm not sure there is an easy answer, but it's possible that you can just screen-scrape the first few prompts, send back the answers and then connect through the proxy. Do you know what kind of proxy you are using so I can try it out?

Mike
